Ghost Candle Mat

In this introductory class to wool applique, you will work with pre-cut wool shapes and learn basic stitches and techniques to complete a project you can be proud of. Prior knowledge of needlework is not required. $50.00 plus $25.00 materials fee* Please register by July 8
*Materials fee includes the wool, floss and needle that will be used in class for this project. You will also need to bring short, sharp scissors (also available for purchase at the shop)
After completing this project you'll be ready to start a more complex seasonal piece
Private classes are available for Learn to Knit, and for assistance with a particular technique, pattern or project. Private crochet lessons are also available. We'll try to work with your schedule, scheduling outside of normal store hours when possible.
Please register at least one week prior to scheduled class. Registration is not complete until payment is received.
If we have less than 3 students registered for a group class you will be offered the option of a refund or you may take the class at the teacher's private class rate.
Refunds will be not be given after the registration deadline unless our class minimum is reached.
If a class is canceled due to dangerous weather conditions we will reschedule the class. If we cancel a class for any other reason you will receive a full refund.

Elizabeth Zimmermann's Baby Surprise Jacket
Advanced Beginner Three 2-hour sessions
Gauge: 6 sts/inch for infant size; other gauges are listed in pattern
You will learn the difference between a double decrease(dd) and a centered double decrease (cdd), the difference between a m1 L, m1 R, and how to change colors in garter stitch.
This class will walk you through the instructions in addition to giving hints to make the instructions more understandable. $65 plus materials
Two-at-a-Time Toe Up Socks Classes every 2 weeks for two hours each
Intermediate - If you have taken the Beginner's sock class, or are comfortable making socks one at a time you are ready for this class. It is helpful if you have previously worked a pattern from a simple chart.
In this class you will learn to take measurements so your socks are customized. We will cover Judy's Magic Cast-On, Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off, and how to use the Magic Loop or two circulars to knit your socks as a matching pair. $65.00 plus materials
