Do you feel that your knitting looks slapped together rather than professionally seamed? In this class you will learn how to invisibly seam two knitted pieces together. You will leave this class with the confidence that you know how to seam properly.
Before class, please make 2 approx. 4"x4" swatches in stockinette stitch and 2 swatches (as above) in garter stitch. You may use any solid light colored yarn that you have left over from projects, but each set of two swatches should be made from the same yarn.

In this class you will make a basic bird body. Instead of standing as pictured above, will sit in a nest that you also make in class. Your bird can then change into a robin, bluejay, cardinal, etc. We'll have colors available for a variety of birds and your bird will leave class ready to lay eggs (if it's a female!) $40. includes materials*.

Do you want to learn to crochet or need a refresher? Have a crochet pattern you've always wanted to make but don't know where to start? Join master crocheter Lindsey Stephens for Crochet Clinic. Lindsey will answer all your crochet related questions to help you start, make progress on, and/or complete the projects you've always dreamed of. All skill levels welcome.

Let Dawn, The Stitching Coach guide you through challenging techniques such as texture, lace, cables, slipped stitches and colorwork. If you are working on the Berroco, bring your blocks and questions to the clinic. Join your fellow knitters for tips, tricks and company, and remember to pick up your supplies at New England Yarn.

Intimidated by socks? This introductory class will dispel the sorcery of sock knitting. Let Dawn, The Stitching Coach guide you in knitting socks two-at-a-time, short row shaping, grafting and picking up stitches . Please print or save the free pattern to your device before class. We will use the Vanilla Sock pattern found here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dk-weight-vanilla-socks .
Skill level: Advanced Beginner: you should know how to knit, purl, increase, decrease and have some experience "knitting in the round"

In this class you will learn how to:
Shape knitting with increases and decreases
Seam flat knitted pieces
Embroider on knits
Add safety eyes to knitted dolls.
